The Muddy Paddock

 W.A.L.T about recount writing.

At my place I was on my bike with my step dad and we were doing skids in a paddock with the dogs. We had to write a level three recount writing about what we did at home. 

Reflection
1. What did you enjoy? I enjoyed writing about my recount. 

2. What could I improve on? I can improve on making better writing.    

 What type do you think my quad bike is?   

Kiwi Can

  We go to a thing called Kiwi Can.
At Kiwi Can we do catch phrases to learn things to focus on.
At kiwi Can we play games. Mostly we play games that involve getting out.
We play GKQ which stands for general knowledge questions.       
At the end people get rewards and you are called Kiwi Caners.

W.A.L.T We are learning about space and art.

I did my space art very well because I took my time drawing it.  
I can improve by being good at drawing and learning more.
My favourite part was drawing it and making my background.

My Favorited Animal

1 I enjoyed learning about my favourite animal. It is called a Gila monster. I enjoyed finding facts about it like the size, weight, lifespan, and litter size.
2 What I found interesting is that they can lay 13 egg at a time.  The Gila monster is 20 inches long.
3 I could write more about Gila monsters like what they do and where they live and how fast they are.
Where does a Gila monster live do you know ?       

Maths

I.A.L.T  we have been macing decimal numbers. 
I have in enjoyed doing macing decimal numbers because I am good at maths.
What i found interesting is it is fun doing decimal numbers.
Be better at maths like decimals.
What are decimals ?

This is my online reading book. We did this in lock down as well to do writing and stuff.
We did this so miss also doesn't have to try and look for our work.

This was our  online maths book we used over lock down, so miss Thompson could see all of our math work. Over lock down we had to learn to be smart with our devices, and couldn't really do it on paper otherwise our teacher couldn't see it and give us feedback. If we did it on paper we had to take a photo and upload it.

Cancel the Invasion

I read the story.
Its kind of good. I didn't finish the whole story but I read the first part and half of the middle part.
I don't have a favourite part because I am not good at reading.
The author could add more characters into the story like the kids family.

Do you think it is scary ?

  

Word Search

Today we made a word search of Cancel The Invasion I did this with Beau , Regan ,Brook , Seth , Tawa and my teacher aid Amanda. I got 11 words in 30 minutes. It was fun doing the word search.

Today for reading we read a story called Cancel The Invasion. It is about 3 kids one girl and 2 boys. They we're playing cricket in the park until the ball hit on a guys head. The kids thought he  looked like a alien and he thought they were different people. He thought she was a vampire and he thought one of the boys was a wizard and he thought the other boy was a warrior so then he sat under a tree on a bench and he saw a wizard who turned into a hawk.
